- Celebrate a correct setup of a matrix equation even if arithmetic is unfinished.
- Keep one written justification: why a result makes sense in the story.
What not to do
- Do not drop the chain-rule structure when converting between dy/dt, dx/dt, and dy/dx.
- Do not treat parameters as “just another x” without saying what they represent.
- Do not add vectors component-wise incorrectly (mix i and j).
- Do not skip checking matrix dimensions before multiplying.
- Do not rely only on calculator matrix menus without stating the system being solved.
